Garden of Savored Gestures 2015

Unconcluded is a performance piece based on the meditative quality of Japanese gardens known as karensansui gardens. This sculptural garden carefully composed creates a space for contemplative meditation. At the same time this pieces fuses found objects, wood work, and fiber art to bind a bridge between separate subjects. The performance started of with the artist sitting on a bench meditating and then slowly starting to arm knit a thick twine as she walked back and forth across the garden in higher meditation.
